Fact Sheets
As part of the review of the Disaster Financial Assistance Program started in 2018, Manitoba EMO has published DFA Fact Sheets for local authorities (municipalities and Conservation Districts) that help to explain the DFA program in plain language to better meet the needs of users. The Fact Sheets cover 15 broad topics.
A DFA Factsheet for Residents is available for Municipalities to hand out.
These Fact Sheets contain general information and are not a substitute for the legislation or regulations. To access relevant legislation and regulations, contact Manitoba’s Statutory Publications or view legislation and regulations on the Government of Manitoba and Government of Canada websites.
